We are expecting cavapoos!

We are expecting 2 litters of cavapoos on August 20th and August 24th. These darling puppies will be ready to go home at 10 weeks old. Get on the list early to get an early picking spot.

Cavadoodles are a cross between a King Charles Cavalier and a Miniature poodle.

Health is the biggest reason why Groodle Doodle Ranch decided to breed designer breeds. Cavaliers are wonderful family dogs, and one of the sweetest breeds available. Unfortunately, all Cavaliers come from only 6 Cavaliers that survived WWII. As a result most Cavaliers will have mitral valve disease by age 10. Other issues like syringomyelia, dysplasia and eye issues riddle the breed. The average age of a Cavalier is just over 10 years which isn’t good enough for us. Poodles are quite the opposite in regards to health. Like every breed, they do have health concerns but they live for much longer and have much less serious health concerns. Groodle Doodle Ranch only breeds high quality health-tested AKC Cavalier King Charles Spaniels with high quality health-tested AKC miniature Poodles. The result is a much healthier breed than the Cavalier.  This is called hybrid vigor.
