Puppies are going home soon. Here are a few things to help you with the transition.
We feed the puppies Purina pro plan puppy focus brand puppyfood.
It has a good rating for its ingredients. We will send your puppy home with a bag and you can mix it 50/50 for a few feedings to switch it to your preferred brand.
Puppies have started training with a clicker and zukes training treats.
We will send a clicker home with you. Puppies will also be given a small blanket with the scent of their mom and litter mates to help with sleeping the first few nights. Puppies are being house broken with the help of puppy potty grass. They are also taken outside to go potty several times a day. We ring bells on the door when we go outside to potty and we hope they will learn to do this by themselves one day.
Puppies have microchips and you can register them online. You will get a pamphlet with all the information on how to do it. Puppies have been vaccinated and dewormed several times. They will need to see your vet within 3 days after going home to establish care. The final balance for your puppy is preferred in cash, but we also accept Zelle. If you’d like to use Zelle, please pay 3 business days before pick up as it takes time to clear. We hope your puppy will be a blessing to your family. Give them lots of kisses for us. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask us. We are here to help you for the life of your puppy. Thanks,
These freeze dried liver treats are all the rage here at Groodle Doodle Ranch
I suggest buying a crate that has a divider that moves as your puppy grows. If you give puppy too much room in his crate, he will designate an area as the bathroom and sleep on the other side. This crate works great.
Puppies are teething! Good chew toys are a must. I also give a special toy or game to play in their crate so they learn to love being in there. These are Some favorites. I freeze yogurt, peanut butter, chicken broth etc in the Kong and it gives the puppy a challenge to get it out.
This is the best brush on the market. It is expensive but it works like magic.
I love this crate for little cavapoos especially. You can open and close with one hand, but it locks in three places. I like the 24 or 30 inch sizes for cavapoos.
I have washed these dog beds frequently and they hold up very well. My dogs turn them over by themselves to the cool side in the summer.
